Warning: reading on may cause spending of excessive funds on really good beauty products.

Welcome to Vanity Affairs—a series where we document the beauty routines of notable people.

There are some people who have an I-can’t-put-my-finger-on-it kind of glow—a certain je ne sais quoi, if you will. You know the ones—their hair falls just right, their skin is dewy but never shiny, and they seem to exude confidence.

In the interest of public service, we’ve set about tracking down these actors, influencers, models, founders, entrepreneurs, musicians, spokespeople (and more!!) to find out their secrets. Have you got your pen and paper ready?

Previously, we’ve spoken to Jemyma Kavanagh, Melanie Grant, Rozalia Russian, Lara Fells, Jules Sebastian, Georgia Fowler, Jonathan Van Ness and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley

Today, we’re taking a peek inside the beauty and wellness secrets of the notable fashion and beauty lover, Lisa Wipfli.

Married to Australian radio personality Michael ‘Wippa’ Wipfli and having gained a large social media following of her own, Wipfli is no stranger to being in the spotlight. Coming from a media and marketing background, the mum-of-three is a regular at fashion events and now shares her love for style and beauty with her 35,000 Instagram followers.

So, it comes as no surprise that we were all ears when Wipfli opened up her beauty cabinet and shared her secrets. Listen up, we’re about to spill on her entire routine…

MORNING WELLNESS

“After reading Atomic Habits, I’ve recently made a few necessary changes to my morning routine. I wake up at 5.30am. I avoid looking at my phone until after I’ve done some ‘cup filling’ activities. First, I make a pot of green tea. I then sit down and do some guided breath work for 5 minutes. Then, I write in my guided journal, answering simple questions about ‘what I’m grateful for’ and ‘what I would like to achieve for the day’. I will then either do a 40 minute workout or if I really don’t feel like exercising, I will do some stretching. Then the kids wake up and I begin the school lunches and breakfast routine.

I’ve been mixing up my breakfasts lately to see what keeps me fuller for longer. I do a basic fast until around 9am, and lately I’ve been enjoying a green smoothie with:

  • Coconut water
  • Spinach
  • Blueberries
  • Banana
  • Almonds
  • Chia seeds
  • Par Olive Collagen Powder – either unflavoured or coconut
  • Ice

SKIN

“My morning skincare routine has to be very efficient. I wash my face with cold water and then apply Rationale #1 The Serum, then Rationale #2 The Serum and then Rationale #3 The Enriched Crème. After that I apply the MECCA COSMETICA SPF50+ Sunscreen followed by my 5 minute makeup routine.

The only foundation I ever use is the Aspect Minerals Liquid Foundation. It’s the best I’ve found for my skin. It gives me coverage without clogging my face.

Ingestible beauty is also part of my skincare routine. Everyday I include the Par Olive Collagen Powder in my coffee and my smoothie to make sure I’m nourishing my skin from the inside as well.

At night, I firstly cleanse my face with the Rationale #4 PreCleanse Balm which melts away my foundation, then the Rationale #5 The Cleanser to remove all residue and dirt completely.

Almost every night in the winter I will apply the Aspect Hydrating Mask. I leave this on for thirty minutes, wash it off and finish with Rationale #5 The Serum and Rationale #6 Moisturiser.”

MAKEUP

“I’ve got my everyday makeup down to a five minute routine. After applying my serums, moisturiser and sunscreen, I then apply the following:

I do this routine whilst chatting to the kids as they have breakfast.”

HAIR

“I’ve recently had a Kerasilk Keratin Treatment put in my hair which has reduced my hair maintenance considerably. I wash my hair with a Kerasilk Shampoo and Conditioner, then I put a Kerasilk Smoothing Serum in my hair and blow dry it in for about 10 minutes. My hair is the shiniest and smoothest it’s been in years.

It also grows so fast, which I think is from the Par Olive Collagen Powder, so it’s also the longest and thickest it’s been in years.”

BODY

“I’m not loyal to one body care product, I love trying new ones and varying products depending on my needs and the season. At the moment I’m really loving the Biotyspa Firming Body Oil and an Aveeno Body Moisturiser for extra dry skin.”

FRAGRANCE

“I mix my fragrances up quite a bit depending on my mood, but at the moment I’m really loving a number of the Aerin Fragrances.”
