Vanity Affairs: Every Single Beauty Product Georgia Fowler Uses In Her Morning Routine

Welcome to Vanity Affairs – a new editorial series where we document the early morning beauty routines of notable women.

There are some women who have an I-can’t-put-my-finger-on-it kind of glow – a certain je ne sais quoi, if you will. You know the ones –  their hair falls just right, their skin is dewy but never shiny, and they exude confidence without being arrogant.

In the interest of public service, we’ve set about tracking these aforementioned unicorns down to find out their secrets. Have you got your pen and paper ready?

The first cab off the rank is Georgia Fowler.

Now based in New York, technically-speaking, this Victoria’s Secret Angel hails from New Zealand. However, as with all of NZ’s best exports, we like to claim her as our own. (She does, after all, spend a lot of time in Australia…)

Recently, while on a whirlwind trip to Sydney to launch Azzaro’s new Wanted Girl fragrance, we sat down the with legs 11 model to talk all things beauty. Here, every single product Georgia Fowler uses in the morning – from start to finish.

Skincare

“I use the Bioderma Sensibio H2O Micellar Water and make sure I’ve taken all my makeup off with that. Then, the Biologique Recherche P50 Lotion – it exfoliates any kind of excess makeup or dead skin.

“I love Dr. Barbara Sturm Hyaluronic Serum. Then, I use La Solution 10 De Chanel moisturiser and if I want something thicker I’ll use Crème de la Mer or La Prairie Skin Caviar which is great for the plane because it acts as more of a barrier.”

Makeup

“Makeup-wise, I like to keep it pretty simple. I’m big on fluffing my brows up. I am using Benefit Cosmetics Gimme Brow+ Brow-Volumizing Fiber Gel – it’s like a mascara but it thickens brows up and makes them slightly darker.

“I don’t like to cover skin too much. I just like to make sure I thoroughly moisturise and use a concealer where it is needed, rather than using a thick foundation.

“[For a concealer] I’m using the Clé de Peau Beauté Concealer at the moment. It’s really good. It’s in a stick and it has a decent amount of coverage but it’s not too thick and it really sinks into the skin. I press it in – I use fingers for everything really.

“I love using Tom Ford Shade And Illuminate because I think it sinks into the skin and makes it more natural. Or the Charlotte Tilbury Beach Stick – I can take from lips to eyes and cheeks. And I just use the classic Maybelline Great Lash Volumizing Mascara: it’s the pink and green one. I mix it up but that’s a good every day. It’s not too full on.”

Fragrance

“My signature scent is Azzaro Wanted Girl: it’s fresh and floral but it still has depth, thanks to the caramel undertones. I like to put it on my wrists first and then put my wrists up to my neck.

“What I quite like about Wanted Girl is that it does have floral notes but it still has the oriental notes as well. So I think it’s a perfect match for a lot of people.”
