Gritty Pretty Real Reviews: Elizabeth Arden Prevage Anti-Aging Daily Serum 2.0 & Eye Serum 2.0
An honest review of the products that totally transformed our Acting Editor’s skin.
As the Acting Editor of Gritty Pretty, it takes a lot for a beauty product to wow me. When you have the privilege of trying and testing out new cleansers, bronzers and eye creams as part of your day job, the formula has to be pretty impressive to become a mainstay in your routine.
That’s exactly what happened though when I was tasked with trialling two products from the Elizabeth Arden Prevage range: Elizabeth Arden Prevage Anti-Aging Daily Serum 2.0 and the Elizabeth Arden Prevage Anti-Aging Eye Serum 2.0.
Elizabeth Arden’s Prevage range is the brand’s premiere cosmeceutical skincare line. What it’s most famous for is Idebenone, a patented hero ingredient that is in both products I tried. Elizabeth Arden’s National Education Manager, Nica Marcello, explained that it is a “really, really powerful antioxidant”—think vitamin C but even more efficacious. “Over time, it’ll actually help to diminish dark spots and pigmentation in the skin,” she says.
After 30 days of trying the product, the Elizabeth Arden Prevage Anti-Aging Daily Serum 2.0 had completely changed my skin texture. It was buoyant and bright—my cheeks and forehead had a renewed plumpness and looked smoother. Idebenone is able to strengthen the skin’s natural defences against skin-dulling pollutants, then work hard to improve and brighten the complexion.
As for the Elizabeth Arden Prevage Anti-Aging Eye Serum 2.0, I noticed a real difference and improvement to the delicate skin under my eyes. Fine lines were reduced and the eye area appeared firmer.
