Gritty Pretty Real Reviews: The Beauty Chef GLOW Inner Beauty Essential

Beauty is an inside job in more ways than one. When you feel good, you look good too.

You know those days where you wake up on the right side of the bed, your energy levels are high, your skin glows and everything feels right? We’d like to have more of those days. While some things are out of our control (parents will know that feeling tired is a part of life) there are some lifestyle factors that are within our control. Cutting down on caffeine can help improve the quality of sleep; upping our water intake can have a skin-plumping effect; a consistent skincare regime works wonders on dull skin.

Often, despite our best efforts, our body still needs a boost – and that’s where The Beauty Chef GLOW Inner Beauty Essential comes in.

Most Gritty Pretty readers and Real Reader Review members will know that there are a lot of beauty teas, tablets and powders on the market. But GLOW is different. As the world’s first bio-fermented, probiotic-rich wholefood supplement, GLOW was originally created in The Beauty Chef founder Carla Oates’ kitchen in 2009. Just over 10 years later, this powder is used and loved by millions and stocked in over 350 stores globally.

Oates founded The Beauty Chef in Sydney’s Bondi Beach with one object in mind: to educate men and women across the globe on the gut-skin connection through her philosophy that beauty begins in the belly.

By nourishing your gut microbiome with prebiotics, probiotics and 18 Certified Organic superfoods, GLOW helps to create a lit-from-within radiance that no amount of cosmetics can replicate. It boosts collagen production; supports hair and nail health; speeds the cellular turnover process; protects skin from within; and contributes to a healthy immune system.

In 2020, GLOW has had a makeover. Over the past decade, technology has advanced so this new supercharged formula has been intensified to include three times more Vitamin C and Zinc, a higher dose of vitamin A and for the first time ever, an ingestible Niacinamide.

All of that is good and well but when it comes to beauty products, nothing beats a first-hand recommendation, right? With this in mind, we asked 20 of our beloved Gritty Pretty Real Reader Review members — sign up here, if you haven’t already! — to put The Beauty Chef GLOW Inner Beauty Essential to the test. Over a 30 day period, these 20 women from around Australia, of all ages and backgrounds, took the powder religiously every day (one teaspoon mixed in 20mL of water, smoothie or otherwise) before reporting back to Gritty Pretty.

Here, five of those women share their thoughts…
