Today, she has a lot to look forward to: a new baby (due any day now!) and a beauty brand expected on shelves next year. While it’s easy to imagine her life as idyllic, her success is not without its hurdles.  Here, the 31-year-old model reveals how she was bullied as a girl because of her looks and mixed heritage, the challenges of working as a professional model before agents and designers embraced diversity and how she has built resilience over the years. If there is one thing we can takeaway from this interview with Shanina Shaik, it’s how grounded and humble she remains.
