VICTORIA BECKHAM LAUNCHES THE MOST HIGHLY ANTICIPATED COSMETICS COLLECTION OF 2016

Victoria Beckham, the Spice Girl that keeps on giving, is set to launch her cosmetics line in Australia at the start of next month.

The limited edition collection – a well-matched collaboration between Beckham and makeup behemoth Estée Lauder –  captures what the fashion designer considers ‘the essentials’ of any makeup kit: illuminator, eyeshadow, eyeliner, lipstick and bronzer.

A vision of sexiness, edge and sophistication, it’s a 15-piece set that she hopes will inspire women to feel empowered and fierce. “I love to make women feel like the best version of themselves,” she adds.

The palettes, all housed in statement square compacts with black ribbed-leather exteriors and rich gold detailing, rival the new Jet Black iPhone in cool factor. We’re calling it one of the biggest cosmetic collaborations of 2016. Yeah, we went there!

Beckham’s famous for her smoky eye so you’d be silly not to invest in at least one eye product from her exclusive line. The Eye Foils are a breakthrough that use a classic lipgloss doe-foot applicator to deliver a swipe of liquid-metal colour across the lid. For everyday, the velvety kohl Eye Kajal Duo liners are your go-to; they’re great for tight-lining (running eyeliner around the entire eye, yet another trademark in the Victoria Beckham beauty repertoire.

The other must have (and if you get nothing else, get this) is the powder Highlighter in Modern Mercury. This one’s a collectable from the Estée Lauder archives that has been brought back at the behest of Beckham, who reveals she’d purchase it off eBay to keep her stocks going.

And last but not least, we love the Morning Aura Illuminating Crème – part moisturiser, part brightening primer, part strobing cream – the hydrating pearlescent lotion is this beauty editor’s dream-illuminator realised. Trust us, it is yours, too.
