Have you ever woken up one morning midweek and felt… flat?

Perhaps you had a bad sleep, perhaps your skin looks dull because forgot to apply a night moisturiser (naughty!) or perhaps you simply woke up on the wrong side of the bed?

I have—and I find the perfect pick me up is lipstick. Whether it’s a deep berry plum, a striking matte red or a creamy pink nude, lipstick is a surefire way to boost your mood and make your day.

Got an important work meeting which you need to be all Girl Boss for? Apply a strong slick of rouge and suddenly ‘Confidence’ becomes your middle name.

Throughout the week, I personally wear lipsticks according to my mood, my outfit and even the weather. To show you exactly what a week of my life looks like as a beauty editor, I’ve directed this short film (see below).
