­Complete with overwhelmingly high ceilings, designer furniture and a balcony draped with bougainvillea, Hayley Bonham’s luxury apartment in Sydney’s East is an interiors delight.

If you’ve ever swooned over the interiors at La Porte Space — either in real life or via your Instagram feed — you’ll be unsurprised to learn that its co-founder and creative director, Hayley Bonham, resides in a home that gives the boutique luxury co-working and event space a run for its money when it comes to dream-like interiors.

Bonham has occupied the two-bedroom, one-bathroom apartment for almost two years now and admits she fell in love with the Victorian-style residence and it’s undeniable European charm the moment she saw it. “I fell in love with the building and apartment as soon as I walked through the gate,” says Bonham. “I travel to Paris regularly with work and it reminds me of the apartment I stayed during my most recent visit.”
