NYFW BACKSTAGE BEAUTY: MISHA NONOO S/S 15
Ahhh, normcore. The trend that isn’t a trend, that, quite ironically, is now trending.
Yes, the once considered average “I-just-roll-out-of-bed-and-walk-down-the-street-looking-like-this-after-yoga” hair style is in full force.
And, at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week New York this week, Misha Nonoo S/S 15 led the disheveled hair charge.
“For Misha’s show, we were inspired by the ’90s and that edgy, supermodel style,” says Matthew Curtis, TRESemmé Global Stylist. “We created a modern looking wave that was very sleek at the root to give it a bit of sharpness while complementing this with lots of texture at the base to create a touch of romance and beautiful movement.” Curtis also adds the whole idea is not to look “done”.
Consider this hair trend to be every lazy girl’s dream (mine included).
