A Deep Dive Into Samantha Harris’ Skincare Routine

The secret is out.

Gracing the cover of the Summer 2021 issue of Gritty Pretty Magazine, Samantha Harris is the ultimate role model.

Now 30, Harris has been modeling since she was 14 and is a card-carrying industry veteran. The Biologi ambassador, Indigenous model and World Vision advocate knows that young women look up to her and takes her position of influence seriously. During a candid conversation with Gritty Pretty Editor-in-Chief Eleanor Pendleton and Beauty Director Erin Cook on Gritty Pretty Radio (listen here!) Harris opened up about striving for strong, not skinny: “I’m at the age now where I just want to be the fittest I can be. For so long when I was younger, I was comparing myself to other models and wanting to look like them. I look back now and it makes me sad because I didn’t need to look like them; I just needed to look like me and the best version I can be.”

If there’s one thing we know for sure it’s that Harris’ skin glowed during her Gritty Pretty cover shoot. And we aren’t the only ones that noticed – our DMs lit up with questions from our readers asking, ‘How does she get that glow?’ (And whilst, yes, makeup was worn during the shoot, we can personally vouch for the fact that Harris arrived at 8am with a bare face and bright skin.)

You asked and we listened. Here, every single step in Harris’ skincare routine from start to finish.

The AM Routine

Guys, we have some great news: like all of us, Sam Harris is human and prefers to keep things simple. We have something in common! So, her AM routine is a quick two-step affair with all the hard yards being done overnight (we’ll get to that, don’t worry).

Step 1: “When I wake up the first thing I do is wipe over my face with water and the Biologi Microfibre Cloth ($25/3 pack). This just helps to wake up my skin and take off any excess oils from the night before.”

Step 2: “Then I just pop on my serum of choice and I’m out the door. My go-to at the moment is the Biologi Luminosity Face Serum ($108) because it gives you that glow you want first thing in the morning.”

The PM Routine

Between photoshoots, ambassador obligations and everyday pollution, Harris knows how important it is to take care of your skin after a long day. A way to unwind and do something for herself in the evenings, her PM routine is about as comprehensive as one can get — and with a glow like that, it’s easy to see that her hard work definitely pays off.

Step 1: “Like in the morning, I start with the Biologi Microfibre Cloth ($25 for a 3 pack) but will also do a double cleanse using the Biologi Refresh Cleanser ($62). I find this is the best way to make sure I’ve gotten off all of my makeup.”

Step 2: “Then I apply the Biologi Rejuvenation Eye Serum ($88) which I have to hide in different parts of the house because my husband also loves it and steals it from me. That’s when you know it’s good stuff.”

Step 3: “Then I pop on a serum to really nourish my skin overnight. At the moment I rotate between the Evening Serum in the Radiance Duo ($138) and the new Regenerate Anti-Ageing Serum ($125). The anti-ageing one has Tasmanian Mountain Pepper Berry in it which helps to boost collagen production and brighten the skin, which I love.”

Step 4: “The final step is to take care of my lips. There’s a lot of surface area and they get chapped very easily so I always make this a priority. I love the Nourish Lip Serum ($24) because it sinks in straight away and doesn’t leave that greasy feeling on my lips.”
