19 Of Margot Robbie’s Best Beauty Looks

It’s no secret that the Aussie actor gets it right every single time.

From gracing our tv screens as Neighbours’s Donna Freedman to starring in some of Hollywood’s biggest films, Australian-born actress, Margot Robbie, is no stranger to the hair and makeup chair. With the assistance of her talented team (makeup artist Pati Dubroff and hair stylist Bryce Scarlett are her go-to beauty squad), Robbie is known for her chic red carpet looks. With her signature blonde hair and chiselled features, the star is the ultimate beauty canvas. And thankfully, when it comes to Robbie we are spoilt for beauty inspiration.

Ranging from a barely-there finish to red-lipped glam, we are forever in awe of Robbie’s ability to pull off everything and anything (must be nice). Known for her iconic role as ‘Harley Quinn’ in Suicide Squad, Birds of Prey and The Suicide Squad, Robbie can somehow even pull off white face paint, smeared colourful shadow and a heart-shaped face tattoo that reads ‘straight off the runway’.

With a multitude of looks to choose from, it’s hard to narrow Robbie’s best look down to one. So, when you can’t choose one, 19 is the next best option right?

Chic And Polished

Despite missing out on the Best Actress award at the 2018 Oscars, Robbie managed to win us over at the Vanity Fair afterparty. Rocking a chic, lightly textured bob and silver accessories, the actress kept things simple and timeless with an uber-natural makeup look. A pop of green in the inner corners and lower lash line ties the styling together effortlessly.

Barbie Girl

Channelling her inner Barbie, Robbie rocked a monochromatic pink look at the 2018 Mary Queen of Scots press day. Hair stylist, Bryce Scarlett, completed the look with a voluminous half-updo and side-parted swoosh. As if it were meant to be, the actress is soon to star in Greta Gerwig’s upcoming ‘Barbie’ film.

Green And Glittery

Ever the makeup chameleon, Miss Robbie amped up the sparkle for the 2020 Birds of Prey premiere. While a vibrant green, glittery eye would be daunting for many, Robbie absolutely nails it. Complemented with rosy lips and blush, it’s safe to say that green glitter shadow has now made its way into our shopping carts.

Sunshine Eyes

Yellow eyeshadow and hot pink blush have never looked this good. Matched with a wet hair look by Renato Campora, Robbie manages to pull off the unexpected. Time to whip out the sunshine-y palettes! Will we look as good? Doubtful. Will we still try? Of course.

Lash Loving

We are living for this clumped together lash look. With the lashes as a centrepiece, Dubroff opted for fluffed up brows and cherry-tinted lips. It’s giving French girl!

Ballerina Vibes

With thick black liner, long and curled lashes, a nude glossy lip, and bold brows; Robbie brought the glam to the 2018 Critics’ Choice Awards. Hair courtesy of Bryce Scarlett, the lived-in, messy top knot is giving us total ballerina vibes.

Baby Braids

Robbie’s beauty team outdid themselves for the star’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood appearances. Transporting us back to a time of childhood whimsy, Robbie flaunted youthful face-framing plaits and minimal, pink-toned makeup at the 2019 Cannes Film Festival.

Smokey And Sparkly

Winged eyeliner just got a new look. We are in love with this black and sparkly smoked out wing on Robbie. Makeup artist, Pati Dubroff, paired the bold liner with dewy skin and a nude glossy lip.

Oscars Red

Robbie channelled Old Hollywood at the 2020 Academy Awards. Keeping it natural, the CHANEL Ambassador contrasted the minimal base with a defined red lip and neat waves.

70’s Realness

At yet another Once Upon a Time in Hollywood appearance, Robbie killed the beauty game. The 70’s-inspired, orange-toned makeup look screams ‘try me now!’ While bouncy curls complement her loose and airy blouse.

Mauve Mood

Not one to shy away from a monochromatic beauty look, Margot wowed us with an understated mauve theme at the 2020 Golden Globes. Sporting matching liner and nails, we’d love to see this in other shades. Lime green, anyone?

All About The Skin

At the 2019 CHANEL Haute Couture Autumn/Winter show in Paris, Robbie channelled her ‘French girl’ coolness. The effortless, natural look showcases her stunning skin, leaving us desperate to know what she uses in her skincare routine.

Sunset Face

She gave us sunshine and now she’s giving us sunset. The Wolf of Wall Street star knows how to work her oranges and yellows. Dubroff hit the mark with an ombre yellow-to-orange eye and tangerine lip.

Celestial Goddess

Margot looked positively regal in her gold sparkly eyes and face framing waves at the 2019 SAG Awards. Accompanied by her natural base, this look can be summarised in one word: timeless.

Editorial Eyes

Robbie attended the 2018 Terminal movie premiere with an all-black oil slick eye. Paired with a blue mascara and bushy brow, the actress has truly tried it all.

Stars In The Eyes

Glitter, glitter and more glitter – we’re here for it! At the 2018 Peter Rabbit press day, Dubroff smeared a chunky silver glitter over the actress’s eye area. Intentionally undone, a statement glitter will never go out of style in our books.

Statement Blue

At the 2019 Baftas, Robbie worked an all-round metallic blue statement liner. As one of her signatures, the starlet is a definite natural skin, statement eye girl.

Lived-In Red

As an upcoming trend in beauty, lightly blurred red lips were Robbie’s statement piece at the 2021 Golden Globes. Manicured brows and bronzed skin complemented the classic look.

90’s Lip

Reminiscent of the 90’s supermodel era, muted brown lips have made a resurgence. Berry blush, taupe eyes and a chic top knot tie the look together.
