Yep, there’s something about Lily.

Sure, it could be those bushy brows or perhaps it’s that the dark-haired rock star royalty (daughter of music legend, Phil Collins) has substance.

With a massive 6.1 million (just think about that number for a second…), the actress and now author of Unfiltered: No Shame, No Regrets, Just Me is all too aware of the social responsibility that comes with being a role model for young women.

She also takes her role in the spotlight seriously. “It’s always been really important to me that [my social media followers] know I experience the same things that they do and face the same insecurities. [Instagram] is such a powerful tool to get to use in order to have conversations and reassure them that they’re never alone in their struggles.”

While it seems growing up in the spotlight would mean Lily is far beyond her years, she also knows how to have fun like a 27-year-old should. “I love a classic cat eye and a bold lip. But I really love seeing what new looks my makeup artists come up with every time I go to an event,” says the British-American who is also an ambassador for beauty giant, Lancôme.

Start by preparing the skin with Lancôme Advanced Génifique to add hydration and provide a heathy glow to the skin. Beautiful makeup always starts with beautiful skin.

Next prime the skin using La Base Hydra Glow – this primer will perfect the skins texture and create a radiant base ready for foundation

For foundation create a flawless finish with Teint Idole Ultra, using the foundation brush buff the foundation from the center of the face outwards. In areas you wish to achieve more coverage you can pat the foundation into the skin using the brush.

Add a touch of Cushion Blush in a coral shade to the apples of the cheeks. Use your finger tips to apply the colour which will give a natural fresh look to the skin.

For the eyes layer neutral shades of brown to the mobile eye lid. With a fluffy blending brush add a touch of bronzer to the socket of the eye to help transition the shades and diffuse the shadow out to keep the eyes natural and well blended. Apply a brown pencil eye liner to the bottom lash line, and using a small brush soften the line for a more natural look.

Amplify the top lashes with two coats of Grandiôse Mascara. Use a zig zag motion from the root of the lash out wards for extra length, volume and curl.
