While Summer calls for time spent in the salt water and sun, let’s face it, it’s not the easiest season for maintaining hair health. So, while the weather allows it, why not experiment with a new colour or style to give your strands that cool factor?

Red is all the rage this season. Ranging from strawberry blonde to dark auburn, the red spectrum has something for everyone. Kendall Jenner and Zendaya were early to the party, sporting their own variations of the hue. Whether it be Jenner’s true copper shade or Zendaya’s dark auburn, we expect to see many more adopting some variation of this tone.

Following the emergence of the curtain bang trend in 2020, prepare yourselves for a bangin’ Winter. Embrace the undone look with a feathered fringe because the textured bang is making a comeback this season–and Sydney Sweeney and Suki Waterhouse are leading the pack. Accompany the look with a textured wave and voilà, you have achieved the cool-girl look.

Accompanying the frosty weather, the Winter season calls for a hair colour just as cool. Mother and model, Gigi Hadid, has embraced a stark platinum for a few months and, ever the trendsetter, has inspired a resurgence of the shade. It can’t be denied that there’s no statement quite like an icy blonde but, when taking the plunge into the uber-bleached look, make sure you care for your strands by investing in a hydrating and nourishing hair mask.

Classic brown just got a seasonal twist. Ash Brown, the cool sister of a true brunette, will be making its mark this Winter. Just ask Jennifer Affleck (née Lopez). The brown/silver hybrid colour can be worn as an all over wash or highlighted through a deeper brown.
