Introducing Christophe Robin — one of the latest beauty editor-approved brands available in our Gritty Pretty e-boutique.

Colourist Christophe Robin knows a thing or two about good hair colour—with a career spanning decades, he’s tended to the tresses of Elle Macpherson, Catherine Deneuve and Kylie Minogue, bringing his signature brand of natural looking colour and je nais se quois to every strand.

Based out of his salon in Paris, Robin created his cult eponymous line 20 years ago with a focus on colour and care, armed with the knowledge that they are at the crux of creating (and maintaining) healthy hair. Harnessing the benefits of natural resources and nixing the nasties, the Christophe Robin range spans a variety of different products that contain ingredients such as lavender, lemon, chamomile and pickly pear seed oil, which is found in his iconic Regenerating Mask With Rare Prickly Seed Oil—it’s not only a source of intense nourishment for your lengths, but also helps to create a vibrant finish.

His colour-focused products follow suit—the Shade Variation Mask in Baby Blonde is enriched with buriti oil and almond butter, and neutralises brassy blonde tones, whilst the Cleansing Volumising Paste With Pure Rassoul Clay and Rose Extracts provides a two-pronged approach—the rose helps to highlight and protect the colour, and provides a boost of volume to fine or flat strands without weighing the hair down.
