So thrilled Gritty Pretty is FINALLY back! Would love to see more beauty rather than fashion. There are a million fashion blogs but no one does beauty as well as you! Although in saying that, would love to see what you’re wearing as I love your style. And tips on beauty relating to fashion – for example, how best to wear your hair with a blazer or backless dress or asymmetrical top. Keep up the brilliant work with beauty products – best buys, must haves, reviews, how-tos etc. Would also love to see some health and wellbeing content such as vitamins, juice cleanses etc. xx
Personal posts, outfits, makeup/hair of the day, for sure! So excited for GP's return! x
Thanks for your feedback Hallie and Arna. It's invaluable and I'll definitely keep it in mind when planning future content. Stay tuned for some exciting personal posts next week. It feels great to be back and have readers as excited as I am!
I left a long comment yesterday about what i would love to see from gritty pretty, but it either got lost in the ether or you decided not to publish it! oh well.
Do you have a few hundred dollars to spare? If so, then my answer is yes. I once had a peel left on far too long by a beauty therapist. Subsequently, I woke up the next morning with a purple, painful and abrasive-looking burn. I had some La Mer The Concentrate handy and within 48 hours, my burn had almost disappeared. Creme de La Mer, in particular, is very rich and a little goes a long way. Sure, it's not for every skin type but for me, I've been loyal ever since. La Mer's creator, Max Huber, was actually an aerospace physicist for NASA. He suffered severe chemical burns whilst working. After many surgeries, treatments and therapies, nothing could help his skin heal so he decided to do some research himself. He began his search for a cure in 1953 and 6,000 experiments later Crème de La Mer and its famous 'Miracle Broth' was born. 'Miracle Broth' is at the heart of Creme de La Mer's range and basically it's a mix of sea kelp; calcium; magnesium; potassium; iron; lecithin; vitamins C; E and B12 plus oils of citrus; eucalyptus; wheat germ; alfalfa and sunflower which is bio-fermented for up to 3-4 months.
La Mer is it really worth the cost? Would love to know your thoughts on this brand!
well this is exciting! personally i'd like to see lots of: - personal posts including daily outfits and maybe even some stuff about what make-up you wore on the day - similarly, stuff about what skincare you're using (maybe seasonally, into the gloss style) - some non-beauty stuff like what music, TV, books, fashion, restaurants etc. you're digging - i personally love health, lifestyle and wellbeing type posts so would love to see some of that - original, australian content of interesting, creative people i don't mind product reviews, videos, how-tos etc. the most frustrating thing i see on beauty blogs is rehashed content from elsewhere online, and articles that are basically copied and pasted from a media release, about a product that the blogger would never use in reality. oops, i've rambled too long! looking forward to seeing what the new gritty pretty brings us!
Nice to see you chick. Have fun back in the blog-o-sphere! Px
