Truth be told, I’ve always had a ‘take it or leave it’ attitude to eye cream. But after using La Mer The Eye Concentrate ($315), I can now see the appeal. This eye treatment has a rich, creamy consistency that sinks into skin without leaving an oily residue. With consistent use, I’ve noticed that my eye area is brighter and less puffy when I roll out of bed at 5:45am for Pilates. My favourite part of the experience, however, is the ritual aspect of it. The applicator feels cool on skin and increases mico-circulation; it makes every application feel like a mini-facial. – Erin Cook, Beauty Director

I haven’t slept in 5 months (but, for real) so I REALLY know what tired eyes feel like! This nourishing eye cream contains all the good stuff that soothes tired eyes: caffeine and guarana to firm and reduce puffiness, squalene (from olive oil) to nourish and rehydrate, Vitamin K2 to improve the appearance of dark circles and argan oil for its protective properties. I like to think of it as an energy drink for my eye area! – Eleanor Pendleton, Founder & Editor-In-Chief

I’m sure we’re all familiar with the phrase ‘not to prime is a crime’ but until trying this Becca formula ($66), I was never really convinced. As an added step in an already lengthy routine, priming is only worth it when it makes a difference – and difference this primer makes. Using Cool Light Technology to brighten and even the skin, this formula minimised the look of my imperfections effortlessly. Infused with vitamin E and hyaluronic acid, you can also feel good knowing that the extra step is doing some extra good. – Rose Garnett, Beauty Assistant

If you love lavender as much as I do, then this Rodin Crema Luxury Hand And Body Cream ($75) is definitely for you. Not only is the packaging ultra-chic and luxurious but the product itself is also a winner. The velvety texture absorbs easily into the skin with a non-greasy finish. This is especially good given the current handwashing climate! Hydrating to the max, if you’re after a winter beauty basic, this is it. – Eliza Hynd, Head Of Partnerships

This juicy little appetiser to the skincare routine served me very well. I preferred using the Truth Juice Daily Cleanser ($38) in the morning as a zesty wake up call for the skin. The texture is also the stuff of dreams: soft and creamy like orange flavoured yoghurt. This bad boy is ripe for the picking, if you ask me. – Amie Jones, Art Director

Masking is one of those beauty treatments that I know I really should include more of into my routine. But I’m sure I’m not alone in saying that I struggle to find the time. That was until I found the MZ Skin Hydra-Lift Golden Facial Treatment Mask ($187/5 pack), so there really is no excuse. You really feel like you’re stepping into luxe mask territory with this one. A little slippery (which does make application a bit tricky), the mask is best suited to a bath time or bedtime relax. And your skin will thank you for it. The next day? My skin felt smoother, softer and more plump than ever. – Sue Hoffman, Brand Partnerships Manager
