I have been visiting hair salons for over 20 years & I have never had an experience like you get a Fon. My hair has never been better. The stylists are lovely & have an amazing ability to deliver exactly what you ask for in your colour & style. Whilst waiting for your colour to process you are offered all sorts of treats & they have a delicious selection of wine. Fon literally has my heart & hair for life.

The Fon crew have been doing my hair for over two years now, they get me. I have been every colour possible & had many different haircuts over the last two years. Sometimes I walk in with a clear idea of what I want cut or colour wise & sometimes I just leave it up to them. I am also happy with what they do!

I’ve only been going to Fon for a short time now after being introduced to Alex by my sister-in-law and I must say, I’m so glad we met. Alex and her team not only look after your hair but have the ability and knowledge to colour like no other and create a mean up style too. They are an extremely friendly and loyal team. There is this amazing eclectic vibe when entering the salon, which makes it such a joy to be in and around. The little finer details throughout make them stand out from the rest. Absolute beauties and I can now say, it’s a pleasure to call them friends xx
I moved to Adelaide last year and found FON early on and haven’t bothered to look elsewhere. Alex and the team are so friendly and do a great job. The head massage and hot towels after the hair wash make it feel so luxurious and I always leave feeling at least 10 years younger! I love the touches with the popcorn and the fact it is licensed, if I time it right to have a glass of bubbles!

Alex and her crew are funky, fresh and cool and have a flair for hair. The Salön has such a chic industrial appeal and great tuned to boot. Treat yourself to an alcoholic bevy or sip a coffee/tea and relax, leaving your locks to the experts to make luscious and lovely. Leave feeling super sexy and not stripped of too much cash!

FON was the salon I went to for my first colour experience, it was my best hair decision and has never been anywhere else since! Alex has a really passion for hair and colour, she is always teaching me new things about my hair that I never knew about.
Alex is my hair saviour! I’ve been seeing Alex for my cuts for a few years and finally plucked up the courage to get my first colour EVER! Alex knew I was nervous so gave me a natural, subtle balayage that was the perfect step into the colouring world! Since then i’ve been back, and trusting Alex completely she has amped it up! My hair is healthier than it’s ever been thanks to Fön’s product selections. Fön’s clients don’t all leave with the same cut and colour, they leave with the perfect one for them! I love the team work in the salon and getting to interact with the other stylists/colourists/artists Brady and Elena is great.
This hub of hair is Adelaide’s best kept secret. I was lucky enough to stumble across a blowdry special on the mind body app and the hair gods where looking down on me that day. My first blowdry experience was something else, best head massage, hot towels and great attention to detial and just to top it off the energy and staff make you feel at home. Im now a FON forever client.
I am so happy that I stumbled across Fon one day when I was well overdue a new cut and colour, as I don’t think I’ll want to ever go anywhere else! Such a lovely calm atmosphere, great music and, importantly, the best hair cut and colour I can say I’ve had. Very highly recommended.

The crew at Fon seriously nail it every time from colour to cut, sensational head massages and wraps and blow drys like they’ve just been pulled from my personal Pinterest boards.
The ultimate form of flattery especially comes from hearing that people I know that have raved about my colour have gone into the salon and asked for “whatever she’s having” it doesn’t get better than that! Oh wait yes it does .. the crew are also super cool, delightful people minus the wank factor and just a great experience all round.
I have always struggled to find stylists who can deal with my thick and unruly hair, but the team at FÖN handle it perfectly and I always walk out stoked with my cut – no mean feat when growung out a buzz cut.
I’ve been hunting for a hairdresser and tried a few really good ones, but sticking with Eleni. Good technichal skill – good eye. Good with colours. She’s beautiful too. Kind and her heart is in it. You can see how much she carefully looks as she is cutting and how she carefully chooses placement for foils as well as choosing toners and colours carefully. As I said, really skilled. I also appreciate that she isn’t rushed and the salon has a nice feel to it too.. not too many clients in at once, good music, heated towels with lavender oil.. beautiful experience all round..

I have never had so many compliments on my hair since going to Fon. Alex gets balayage and my hair has never felt better. The salon itself has a great vibe, and is always playing great tunes thanks to Brady’s play list. I also love the flexibility and that they’re open Tuesday nights- which is great for working parents! I couldn’t recommend Alex and the team at Fon enough.

I have always put off booking in for a hair appointment as I don’t usually enjoy the salon experience. Fon has changed this for me and my hair has never been better. Alex understands different hair types and not only cuts to suit but also teaches you how to style it on a daily basis. The stylists are friendly and understand each customer is different. I am fönd of Fön Salön and I am sure you will be too. They are extremely professional and cater for all ages, even male baby boomers like me! The very first time Alex cut my hair she knew what it would and should should look like. Having only changed hairdresser 4 times, I am not changing any time soon.
I’ve been on the lookout to find a trusted salon to help restore my teenage daughters hair back to a healthy lighter colour after experimenting with the use of a dark box colour and I have finally found a hidden gem. The professional honest advise Eleni has given not just to myself but my daughter too, has been exceptional. A long patient journey to get to the right colour has been well thought out so the colour process remains really gentle to the hair and the best possible outcome will be had, which means one happy teenager.
