ROLLING STONE DECEMBER 2022 COVER STORY Starting with one of her subtler looks, on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine mind you, Gomez keeps it simple with glowing skin and a gentle wash of peach on her cheeks and lips. Makeup artist, Melissa Murdick, notes that the inspiration behind this look was the unfiltered and raw nature of Gomez’s recently released documentary.
CANNES FILM FESTIVAL 2019 Winged liner is a look that Gomez is known for and clearly for good reason. Look at that cat eye! For the 2019 Cannes Film Festival, Gomez’s makeup artist added a luminous shimmery eyeshadow using See-quins Glam Glitter liquid shadow in shade ‘Ice-Opal’ and finished the look with the perfect bold red lip.
ACADEMY MUSEUM GALA Gomez opted for a softer smokey eye for her Academy Museum Gala look, pairing it with a peachy nude lip to give a subtle natural glow. A sleek bun is arguably Gomez’s signature hair look and here her hairstylist, Marissa Marino, sticks with the sleek theme creating a clean straight down-do, tucked behind the ears to showcase those statement earrings.
LA MARIETTE CAMPAIGN In a campaign shoot for La Mariette, Gomez goes bold. Far from her classic minimal cat eye, Gomez flaunts bright pink eye shadow, which is left to shine by pairing it with a nude glossy lip. Completing the look is a can’t-be-missed neon green manicure that suitably matches the energy of the eye makeup.
