KIEHL’S X GRITTY PRETTY

When it comes to skincare, I’m a fanatic.

Perhaps it’s because of my mother’s Asian upbringing and her methodical approach to caring for her own skin but I have to admit that I have a lot of steps in my routine.

Part of that reason is because as a beauty editor, I’m testing new products every week and another part is that because the skin is the body’s largest organ, I believe in caring for and treating it with respect.

Some skincare products, however, play favourites.

Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cream is one of those mainstays.

It’s super hydrating and lightweight so doesn’t leave your face feeling weighed down in oily residue. It leaves my skin feeling supple and smooth. And, what I really love doing is mixing two to three drops of my favourite oils to give skin an extra boost of anti-oxidants. It also makes for the perfect DIY makeup primer!
