It’s the most wonderful time of year.

Everyone is feeling festive (and full!) after Christmas. And then, as if almost suddenly, New Year’s Eve is here.

There’s no denying New Year’s Eve comes with a lot of pressure – where to go, what to wear and, more importantly, how to style your makeup.

To kick 2015 off with a bang, have a little fun with a bold makeup look such as a vivid red lip.

To start, line lips using MAC Pencil in Cherry. Then, layer that with an orangey-red lipstick like Dior Rouge Couture Colour in Trafalgar, blending the corners with a Q-tip.

The key to pulling it all off? Add a bit of definition onto the eyelids (try Bobbi Brown Warm Glow Eye Palette) and layer generous coats of black mascara, which keeps the focus on the mouth.
