Makeup giant, Napoleon Perdis, has collaborated with iconic American photographer Slim Aarons.

The legendary lens man, who died in 2006, spent his life taking photos of “attractive people, doing attractive things, in attractive places” and is often considered one of the greatest photographers of his time.

As a long-time fan of Aarons’ work, Perdis secured the exclusive rights to Poolside Gossip (pictured left) – which was shot in 1970 at a Palm Springs home designed by renowned modernist architect, Richard Neutra – to create a limited edition cosmetics collection.

“I was immediately attracted to the aesthetic of Slim Aarons’ work – both for professional and personal reasons,” says Perdis. “I love how his images bring to life a single moment, as well as a period of time.”

The Napoleon Perdis x Slim Aarons kit contains sun-kissed skin essentials: a multi-purpose gold highlighter stick, a universal nude lipstick and a matte bronzer suitable for all skin tones, which can also be used as a contour.

And, if you want an even bigger piece of art, an exclusive selection of 20 images from the Slim Aarons’ archive, chosen by Perdis himself, will be displayed at the Napoleon Perdis Life.Style stores, and will also be available to purchase.

You can shop the Napoleon Perdis x Slim Aarons limited edition collection here.
