Balmain Paris Extatic Eau de Parfum
Sophisticated yet brazen, feminine yet rock-chick; Balmain Paris is summed up in a bottle with creative director Olivier Rousteing describing the brand’s latest scent, Extatic, as “sexy without being vulgar”.
“Extatic is the olfactory metaphor of the Balmain woman, who captivates through a certain lightness combined with an assertive character,” explains Emilie Coppermann, the perfume designer. “Not to mention an ‘aristo-rock’ offhandedness which makes her the irresistible centre of attraction for all eyes…”
This oriental floral, combines crystalline rose, nashi pear and osmanthus with the voluptuous aromas of chocolate-scented Sharry Baby orchid and iris. And finally, a bewitching trail of jasmin and leather is left behind. The result? A juice with just the right amount of punch.

My Burberry by Burberry Eau de Parfum
If you’ve ever been to London, your olfactory will instantly be able to recognise the distinct smell of a London garden after the rain. It is this precise moment that serves as the muse behind this new floral fragrance. Bursting open with top notes of sweet pea and bergamot, it is complemented by rich heart notes of geranium, golden quince, and freesia. To tie it all together, rain-tipped damask (how lovely!) and centifolia roses linger. And in true Burberry style, the honey-coloured juice is housed in a glass bottle that reflects the details of the brand’s iconic trench coat: the horn-finish cap is inspired by the coat’s buttons and the hand-tied knot is woven garbardine – the same fabric created by Thomas Burberry over 100 years ago. Oh, and did we mention British magnates Kate Moss and Cara Delevingne are the faces? Yeah, that had us hook, line and sinker too.
