First, the convenience: the Melbourne flagship of this luxe salon is located inside the Emporium shopping mall, so parking is a breeze. Next, the salon and staff: the space is clean and bright, we were instantly greeted and offered drinks (and chocolate!), and the flow of communication was clear and constant throughout our service. Finally, our hair: we had a variety of Kérastase and Smartbond treatments (including a colour booster and toner) that left our strands smooth and silky, plus a cut, colour (our highlights are the definition of ‘sunkissed’) and very excellent blowdry, and we left with super practical, even-we-can-do-that styling tips to try at home. Check, check and check.
