Meet A-H SHOP | SALON, the younger sister of renowned Newtown hair salon Audrey + Him, whose stylists have been cutting, colouring and styling with their own brand of inner-west flair for over 15 years. Tucked away in a 1892 heritage-listed building and with cult beauty brands (think Kérastase, The Ordinary, Helmut Lang & We Are Feel Good) stocked here and used throughout their treatments, trust us you’re in good hands. While their standard cut and blow-dry – which was anything but standard thanks to the attentive and incredibly friendly consultants who make you feel zen-like and comfortable with every step of your hair journey – this is one generously spacious salon flooded with natural light, which you’ll want to return to time and time again.

I have been visiting A+H since it opened and haven’t looked back. The consultants truly know their craft, recommending the best for my hair, whilst keeping me looking current. Whether I am getting my hair coloured or cut, I have always left A+H feeling satisfied, something that other salons haven’t always managed to achieve with my hair. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and attentive, and the complimentary wine and coffee make visiting A+H that much more relaxing! I always look forward to visiting the team and highly recommend A+H to anyone looking for a fantastic hair experience.
Since moving back to Sydney from living in New York, I was desperately looking for a salon that would meet my expectations. I’m so happy I found A + H Salon. This crew is extremely talented with hair and I’m quite critical on who touches my hair. I’ve used 2 different stylists from the salon who took their time to listen to my needs, styled my hair exactly how I envisioned and provided me with impeccable service.
